It's very similar to a regular MBA program but with emphasis on managing and dealing with issues pertaining to the part of a company that has operations overseas or that deals frequently with foreign subsidiaries and partners. Many companies have separate divisions for domestic and international operations since each may have separate goals and strategies. The curriculum would include all the usual MBA courses: management, finance, accounting, marketing, human resourses, business law etc...plus courses about managing operations that are in different countries besides your own, dealing with cross-cultural and cross-legal issues. The career options are the same as those with a regular MBA: an entry-level management position or mangement trainee but in an environment that deals more with overseas than domestic operations.
