Masters in International Business with Masters in International Relations

Masters in International Business with Masters in International Relations?
Hi all, I did my M.Sc in Software Engineering(5 Years) and am currently working in an MNC(IT). I am half a year old in the company. I am planning to pursue my higher education in Australia sometime early 2009. I am planning to take up either the Double masters degree of 'Masters in International Business with Masters in International Relations' offered by Macquarie University or Masters in Information Systems Management at any good universities. Could any of you tell me about the effectiveness of the courses i have mentioned and the job prospects. I would also like suggestions on any similar course offerings by any universities.

why get 3 masters degrees? doesnt make sense to me. if you dont like what youre doing, then get a new one, but not 2 more. you need to become more specialized in a single area and stick with one company to advance within it.

What university in the western half of the U.S. should I apply to for a master's in International Business...
Please please help I have been searching so long for a school in the western half of the United States that offers a Master's degree in International Business, global management, or an International MBA, or something else in that vein. I want the program to have a study abroad program as part of the graduation requirement. Please help! 10 points best answer. I have scoured the web for many universities and I am at a loss. I'm hoping to spend about $20,000 or less per year for the program. My undergrad GPA is 3.6 at a Cal State, so I know I won't get into a top school. Just so you know what is possible for me to get into. You know, I always did want to go to CSUF. I never knew they had an international program. Thanks! Cal State is fine. I just posted my stats so that no one would say "USC" or "Berkeley" or somwhere I can't get into.

I'm not sure if you are looking to get out of the Cal State system, but Cal State Fullerton has an amazing business program that you should look into! Tons of people there have International Business as their major, and it is one of the top business schools in California, or even the country. Check here!: http://www.fullerton.edu/catalog/academic_departments/interbprog.asp

I've always heard great things about Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona. International business is their specialty. http://www.thunderbird.edu/

Juris Doctor/ Master of Business Administration

Juris Doctor/ Master of Business Administration?
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce double degree through the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. My Business majors are International Business and Marketing and I am trying to decide between Sustainable Economics and Business Law for my Commerce major. I plan on doing an MBA in the future but lately i have been interested in a joint JD/MBA program. I am interested in Business Consulting and becoming an executive but i am also interested in Corporate Law. Are JD/MBA programs really worth it?

You need to decide what career you want. If you want to be an attorney then go to law schools and concentrate on that. If you want business then go for a MBA.

Actually combining engineering and business is not uncommon. I would success maybe some classes in information technology. If you are interested in computer science, take programming classes. Java is very beneficial in the global market. If you are thinking engineering, I would suggest electrical engineering courses along with engineering management courses.
